How the day runs

1

Arrive early

The registration desk opens at 8:00am on the main day. Come at least thirty minutes before your first match — draws run to time and late arrivals can forfeit.

2

Collect your wristband

Everyone who registered collects a wristband on arrival. It must be worn all day: it is how officials know who is entered, and it is required for entry to the courts.

3

Find your sport

Check the board at the desk for your court, table or pitch, and your first match time. Officials are in maroon LCUK shirts if you need help.

4

Play, then stay

Once your matches are done, stay and watch. The trophy ceremony closes the main day and it is the best part.

What to bring

Items packed for a day at the Lohana Sports Festival: rackets, indoor shoes, towel, water bottle and first aid pouch
Non-marking indoor shoes are the one thing people forget.
  • Non-marking indoor trainers — required for the sports halls. Outdoor soles are not permitted on court.
  • Your own racket or bat if you have one. A limited number are available to borrow.
  • Water bottle — there are refill points on site.
  • A change of kit if you are entered in two sports.
  • Photo ID may be requested, particularly for age-group categories.
  • Something warm for the outdoor pitches — September in Hatfield can turn.
