The conference elected Ashokbhai Rach as President for 2026/27. Ashokbhai steps up from Vice President with long service to the community — the Sports Festival, the Gujarat schools legacy and much else.
He succeeds Bharatbhai Sodha, whose term revived the Lohana Sports Festival for four consecutive years, celebrated LCUK’s 45th anniversary, and led a delegation of more than a hundred UK members to the LIBF event in Mumbai — the largest foreign delegation present. Bharatbhai continues on the committee as Immediate Past President, with the whole community’s thanks.
The new committee takes office with a full year ahead, including the next Lohana Sports Festival and the continued work of connecting Mahajans across the UK. Jai Shree Krishna.
The Executive Committee runs LCUK day to day, carrying out the decisions of the Central Council and the wishes of the sixteen Mahajans. The committee shown above was elected at the 38th Annual Delegates Conference, held in Leicester in July 2026, and serves for the 2026 to 2027 tenure alongside the Board of Trustees.
Between them, the officers of the Executive Committee look after the running of LCUK: the national events such as the Sports Festival, the everyday communications, the finances, and the links with the Mahajans and with Lohana organisations worldwide. The Central Council, made up of a representative from each Mahajan, holds the committee to its remit.
