The 38th Annual Delegates Conference of the Lohana Community of United Kingdom was held on Sunday 12th July 2026, hosted by Shree Lohana Mahajan Leicester CIO at the Smt. Nitiben Maheshbhai Gheewala Lohana Centre. Delegates from Mahajans across the country gathered to receive the year’s reports, adopt the accounts, and elect the leadership for the year ahead.

The conference elected Ashokbhai Rach as President of LCUK for 2026/27. Ashokbhai steps up from the role of Vice President and brings long service to the community, having worked closely with the outgoing committee on the Sports Festival, the Gujarat schools legacy and much else.

He succeeds Bharatbhai Sodha, who stands down after a term that revived the Lohana Sports Festival for four consecutive years, celebrated LCUK’s 45th anniversary, and led a delegation of more than a hundred UK members to the LIBF event in Mumbai, the largest foreign delegation present. Bharatbhai continues to serve on the committee as Immediate Past President, and the whole community thanks him for his leadership.
