The Lohana Community of United Kingdom (LCUK) collects personal information only to run the community’s activities: festival registrations, the eNewsletter, the eDirectory, and enquiries. This notice explains what we hold, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Festival registration: name, contact details, Mahajan, age group and chosen sports — to organise entries, fixtures and safety on the day. eNewsletter: name, email and Mahajan — sent only with your consent; unsubscribe from any email. eDirectory: listings you choose to provide. Enquiries: whatever you send us, used only to reply.
Youth Cricket U14 and other junior entries involve children’s details. We collect these only from a parent or guardian, who consents as part of registration, and we use them solely to run the event safely.
Registrations and newsletter data are processed in LCUK’s volunteer-run CRM and email systems. Payment is handled on LCUK’s payment site; card details never pass through this website.
You may ask at any time what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact the Secretary General via the contact page. If unresolved, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
